Keji is a very special place in southwestern Nova Scotia. It is a land of lakes, rivers, wetlands, and forests. As a Barred Owl, I’m particularly fond of Keji’s forests.
There are three forests in my community. They are:
Snaggy Grove
Lofty Hemlocks
Beech Knoll
Many plants and animals live in these different forest communities. Click the button to see how they are all connected.
My community is located in Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site. National parks are special places where nature is protected for today and for years to come. Click the button to explore Keji.
