Program logistics

In-school visits

Park interpreters will bring everything needed for the in-school visit. To avoid moving our equipment and props from class to class, we would prefer to set up in an empty classroom or resource room and have your students visit us there.

Keji visit

Your students will spend almost all of the in-park portion of Keji Quest outdoors, and so will need to dress appropriately. One of the pre-park activities will help your class prepare for this outdoor adventure.

Throughout the day, we will use a kitchen shelter as a home base. This building has a wood stove and bathrooms (with running water) and will be used for the program introduction, conclusion, and for lunch on chilly days.

Chaperones are welcome and will be actively involved in the days events.

Program cost

Entry fees to Kejimkujik will be waived for schools participating in Keji Quest. Transportation to the park is the responsibility of the school. Classroom visits and program resources are free of charge.
