Plants and Animals

The changing colour of fall leaves is a sure sign that winter is on its way. As you watch this colourful display in your schoolyard, you will be developing skills that are important for my Neighbourhoot Watch activities.

Striped Maple

Not all changes in nature are as obvious as these colourful leaves. Detecting changes in the natural world takes time. This is why my Neighbourhoot Watch activities will continue in future years. Only over time will I be able to see how and whether my community is changing.
