"I like Keji better than Disney World." - Leah, age 8

Species at Risk - and how you can help!

Scientists at Keji are working hard to keep endangered animals safe.

Keeping track of endangered animals, improving their habitat, and monitoring changes in the environment is a full time job for many people. Luckily, they are backed by countless volunteers who donate their time and resources to preserve our wilderness.

Want to be a volunteer?

Inquire at the Keji Visitor Centre about upcoming volunteer opportunites. Volunteers can on walks to monitor the Eastern Ribbonsnake, help build turtle nest enclosures, monitor Blandings Turtles laying eggs, help Blandings Turtle hatchlings, and participate in many other activities.

Also keep an eye out for Species at Risk. If you see one, call the Rare Species Hotline at 1-866-727-3447 or email sightings@speciesatrisk.ca.
